Blue Vervain, aka Verbena hastata,  is an herb traditionally used for heat and tension. It can be helpful for colds and flus, sore throat and fever, sore and stiff muscles, and to calm the emotions, ease stress and promote sleep. It has also been used for dysmenorrhea.
